Very effective setup, with well chosen equipment and very practical placement IMO! Well done!

@qtuner: That Voyager in the dark looks way too sexy. Got one back in the office (waiting for the service), though it is the Electric Blue edition. Way too much for my pocket - but becoming a Moog service certainly gives some benefits - ie to squeeze the fckin beast i'd probably never got chance to otherwise. Personally i'll go with the Old School edition which will soon be out of production. The last unit (last serial) is reserved for me.

Nice choices!

I'm a little disturbed at how much of that gear I could recognize with the lights out.

I struggled with the thought of shelling out for a so much for monophonic synth. Then i had a really bad day in April and put it on my GC credit card. Mine is Ashe with electric blue. I came real close to ordering walnut with purple LED's but i liked the blue better. Sound wise it is worth it. Running through my eventide makes it even better.

My Moog Voyager actually saved my life in May. I will post the story soon.

What kind of H-8000 effects do you usually use with the Voyager?

delays verbs and pitch shifters. Blackhole is the proverbial h8000 verb preset. I like it. I must admit that i am still a h8000 newb . I'm just now getting comfortable with the basics on this beast. I have yet to download the vsig editor and start building patches. I had another engineer in my studio last week, and he dared me to make an entire album with just the h8000 and voyager. It is really tempting.

My H-8000 is permanently connected to an Andromeda - my Voyager is in another city

Black Hole is just awesome, I highly doubt that it can be done with any other machine.

I suggest that you try multiple pitch-shifters with the H-8000 and the Voyager. The H-8000 can track extremely well monophonic sources. With a little chorus and reverb you can have a polyphonic Moog pads.

Finally restored it:

-- replaced tantalum caps (just in case)
-- cleaned the pots and contacts with air compressor - boy they now work as new!
-- new cherry wooden sidepanels are courtesy of Chris a.k.a. the WASP.

Not a patch (no pun intended) on some of these uber-rigs, but it keeps me out of trouble (& eating 2 min noodles 3 times a day)

You guys need to take a photo of all of you caressing the synths lovingly, eyes full of tender love.

Or, just hump the synths with looks of ecstasy on your faces.
