wonderful setup, shaft. considering all the other toys you have (including that Thingamagoop!), what are you using the MS2k for? oh, and is that a Cyberhome DVD player back there?

| right on. my microKORG has been my go-to synth right now for about the same reason. these last couple'a days i've put together a few really awesome, grimy, all-hope-is-lost type pads and drones, and i find a use for the DWGS all the time, mostly for some of the brassier waves and some of the synth "voices". i miss my MS2K's mod sequencer though, big-time. i'll get it back someday....

i built a new rack for the modcan and transfered all my modules to modcan cases so it all fits in one ergonomic rack. much happier now. before things were split between 2 modcan case and one cyndustries case. all the modules didn't fit so i have a couple for sale + the cyndustries case and power supply. anyway - here's the pic w/boss dm-300 and vermona spring verb below |

Hey Carbon, how well do those Grado's work for headphone monitoring? I've got a set of SR-80's I use for listening. It seems like they would be great for just about any kind of use besides in the vocal booth. Oh, and I love the glass artwork on the floor. |

| Nice gear & set-up. Is that a Prophet 600 with silver topped knobs? Can we get a close up? Seeing your P600 in a nice setting makes me want to get new wood (and knobs with silver on them) for mine.

Don't have a closer pic at the moment than this one: ![]() Everything got heavy use on the album I've got coming out in the next week or so...it's mostly chill-type music and it's called Shadow. It's the first fully-produced effort from me since 2003 and I'm pretty proud of it. A gearlist-per-track is here: http://carbon111.com/album_covers/shadow_gear.txt ![]() ![]() | |||||

hi. it's been a while since i've been over here, i joined a long time ago and apparently only post twice a year. i'll try to fix that. anyway, this isn't all that considering some of the studios in this thread, but i thought i should contribute to the thread anyway: ![]() |

this is the current version. I got a bit tired of "synths" and I've been using more organic sounds from the nord or kontakt. The groove comes from the 999. The blofeld is a recent acquisition and I'm still considering if I'll keep it or not. If fits perfectly on top of the NE 61 though- it makes a great combo for gigs. but GAS is pushing me to sell both and get a PC3... |
