Here's my old live rig, and my almost current traveling studio. Always changing, but checking out all the rigs in this thread has inspired me to dig out all the stuff and put it together when I get home. Maybe even fire up some hardware synths again!

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of "genre" was this rig being used for?

![]() I actually have two of them; got my wife a V1 goop (green with a green light) in addition to this red V2. Very fun. The V2 is a cool modulation source for my modular gear. They drive my dog crazy.

| My room is garbage, and no amount of treatment would save it. All the walls, including interior walls, have windows. And they rattle. So I mix on headphones, but tweak the mix's bass and stereo image on the KRKs. I realize they suck, and you might think they're ugly (I don't buy gear for looks) but they'll do the job for the time being. Moving up to ADAMs when the time comes.

if you're room is that bad maybe consider picking up a room mode system that can calibrate your monitors for you. I have the JBL 4300 series with the RMC and it made a pretty substantial difference. just a thought. love the desk you got

A while ago I bought a synth from somebody that had white KRKs in his home studio and they looked soooo good that I started doubting if I had made the right choice with the black VXT4s that I had bought just a few months earlier. Sometimes the best choices are the bold ones..

| Gear maniac | they're here. however they are far too cool to hang out at my studio. they can get FF'd as far as i'm concerned. we're better off without them. |

Just set up most of my studio after many months of inoperable chaos. Still got to put in the monitors. Headphones for now. MPC60 has been out of action and is now back as the catalyst/centerpiece. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() tr808, tr909, sp1200, 01v96 w/firewire, mpc60, Andromeda, sh5, jupiter6, juno 60 w/rubberduck benderwheel ornament, tr727, tr707, tr606, tb303, kpr77, kr55b, mc202, tb303 devilfish, pro2000, ms20, sh101, cz101, sre555, fs1r, mpx100, transient designer2, some focusrite channel thing. turborat, sansamp, juicer pedal, ce-2. and boss dr110. not pictured KRKv8mk2s, jupiter 4, sh3, sh3a, rhythmace preset box, c64mssiah. Clearly I need to get rid of some stuff... and get a minimoog and a.....oh and put out some records. and get out of debt. what a ridiculous affliction! I hate materialism but appear to be firmly in its grip. No, no, this is the means of production I tell myself. I feel better thinking that its all 2nd hand. I really like collecting this stuff. I'm 35 and have been at it since I was a teenager. Thanks to fellow board members for all the knowledge dropped here. Shouts to CoolColJ & MonkeyMarc!
