Well, at least you know. So many of us go through life not knowing we're dicks.

that definitly is the next generation of sluttyness
I love it. But i wonder if i could actually make use of so many screens. I guess you have more than 2 PCs connected there, right? Some dedicated samplers or something like that?

man, after seeing all the setups, I think I have the simplest.

Need more gear, anyone care to donate? I write drum & bass and trance.

Behind me just storage, camera stuff, duplicator and guitar amps.

but man, you gotta put those speakers closer together, theyre way too wide.. ideally you want your head and the spkrs to form a perfect triangle with 60 degrees in all angles. or at least aproximately. i mean, its a shame since i see you invested in some absorbers, so youre thinking about acoustics (unlike most ppl here).

I don't have hardware synths though, except for a Korg KARMA and a Virus C (in front of the kb in the pic.) I guess purists will discualify the KORE2 and the ton of synths it controls so I don't count it

so I've been told in my studio move thread. So I checked, they're 4ft apart and to make a equilateral triangle all I need to is roll back in my chair a foot and point the speakers at my ears.

Other than that, its either get a new desk or put the speakers on the desk shelves where my two monitors are.

I had the same problem....needed to move back from the desk to get in the right place for the stereo imaging....but my arms aren't long enough to reach controls.....In the end I decided to set the listening position up right first and then work around it. Rather than the other way round.....which in hindsight was not a smart way to go about it.

Nice set-up cosmos! But I can't see stuff on the racks, makes me feel dizzy... On the floor, is that a Moog Rogue connected to an old fashoned wall heater for warming up the sounds?

at least judging by the picture a feet seems hardly enough. count the distance from center of the HF cone to the other one.

what jangomes said, if u cant get them speakers closer, pull everything away from the wall and leave the speakers behind on stands, on position where they are now. i.e. create a bigger "triangle".

looks very nice, cosmos

Saw the breakdown cosmos! Thanks for the insite, I also read your following post on a breakdown of your outboard gear, very impressed. Behringer my a**, your outboard can make most studios green with envy. Any links to your music, would love to hear your cosmic sounds.

I think we have 3 Machinedrums and 4 monomachines. We use some only in the studio and some for the live PA. We are sponsored by elektron so that helps!!

Check out these interviews on Gearwire we did for elektron..
