idiotboy WINS! My favorite so far, out of so many awesome set ups. There's something about his rig that I just dig.

Maybe it's the way the Andy looks like a pagan shrine to analog synthesis.

Do you sacrifice virgins to the Andromeda on solstices or something?

Most likely it's the opposite. With a set up like that you gotta work over time, beg your old lady not to leave you for having a 'problem', coax your dog out from whatever crevice he has been hiding from the terrifying assault of bleeps and blips in and stage an open house just so your friends remember you're still alive!

I NEED MORE GEAR all mine setup is is like 2 amps, a mic, a crappy casio CTK-3000 Keyboard with sample/loop abilities(only reason I use it) a Zoom MTR-3b, 2 distortion pedals, a Baldwin "Fun Machine" Electric Organ,a record/8-track player and a bunch of junkmetal with pipes to bang on them. I WANT MORE GEAR so My "studio" doesn't look like the remains of some russian discoteque.

hahaha. man, i'm "at finishing stage" for last 10 years.

but seriously, me too. im moving to a new apt/studio at the end of the month. but real troubles are just about to begin - need a new center table with racks on the side, speaker stands, more absorbers, more diffusors, cables etc etc.. it will never end.

to keep it on topic w setup pictures, here's a pic taken recently at Don Solaris's place. he recently bought an OBX too, so while working on it, he gave me a call and offered to take a look at mine as well, that had some minor issues. what a guy.. also, at the end i've thrown in a shot of my rack, when i was caught by morning, burning midnight oil to meet a deadline..

Dead Right !

Convincing my wife that I needed a music room was a big first step ... then converting two whole walls into one modular synth .... took a bit more convincing. Don't mention the costs.

Lots of nice gear shots. Analog synths always get the heart beating a little faster.

That's just a part shown here. No time to take pics, but got SH-2, SH-3a, MKS-80 rev4, OB-X, two ARPs, Waldorf Pulse Plus, Microwave XT, Dynacord ADD One, Logan Sting Ensemble, and others... Too much gear gathered here during the last 15 years. Damn! Let it be - as long as it is analog.

Beermaster switched to wireless. That's why you can't see patchcords.

Yesterday as you were leaving with the OB-X in the trunk, fighting through the ultra-heavy traffic i came to idea to send you SMS with following: "Damn! I gave you wrong OB-X. It's mine you got in the trunk!"

Gee, i wish i could see your face then. Knowing you need to turn your car in the river of cars and open the trunk to check it out.

Damn Don, his brain must be fried with all the microwaves in the air.

I can't stop thinking that when you need so much things, you are not compensate something.
Anyway, incredible modular-slutism to look at, remind me of Hans Zimmer's wall of synths.

wow, you have a nice, modest setup! Not too slutty, just right! And you actually have all of the synths that are at the top of my 'to get' list (seriously... nice choices!)

That's both mine and 'Spleg's set up (as i believe hes called here on the forums) - he owns more of it than me :P

Arp Axxe, Moog Prodigy, Microkorg, Commodore 64 running MSSIAH cartridge (TV used for monitor), Roland Juno 6, Macbook Pro running Logic Pro, M-Audio Axiom 61 and DSI Mopho.

My studio.

PX7. My wife uses this more than I do:

The PC is an older one-chip P4 2.4 Ghz Gateway from before they were bought out. It is never connected to the internet and I try to maintain it well and have souped it up to the max. My wife uses it for graphics and video. I use it for music. It runs a choice selection of VSTs and Ableton Live.

21" and 19" screens and my master keyboard (the only keyboard) a Kawai K5000s. It has been altered by installing original brand-new BLACK side-panels. All of the S models have dark blue side panels except mine.

Good old RS7000. Not much to see here, move along.

The rack. I trust everyone knows what these are.

The CDRW drive for the sampler (sample discs are on a shelf not pictured) and some sound disks for the Kawai. Fostex monitors. There is another on the other side not pictured.

There are a few other pieces that are not integrated and not pictured: Korg EM1, Kawai K1 mkII, Yamaha QY100 and RY10, Novation 25 LE, and of course a box of midi and audio cables.
