American Idiot drums

Does anyone know what drum kit, and particularly what snare(s), were used on the American Idiot album?

Werd.

I remember reading a Tre Cool interview ages ago where he stated that he's used the same snare on pretty much every Green Day album since their early days. Can't for the life of me remember what that was though, sorry!

He endorses Ludwig, but anything could have been used.
The drums sound heavily sample replaced to me, or sample enhanced.
Besides, a different snare could have been used on every song, rented in too. It's all standard practice.

Taken from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tre_Cool

In the earlier years of Green Day, Tré used a DW drum kit. Since the album Warning, Tré has got his own signature Slingerland drum kit, called the "Spitfire". However, on the American Idiot tour, Tré parted ways with his Slingerland kit, and now uses a Ludwig-Musser Classic Maple kit with a Shadow Purple paintjob. He says. He uses Zildjian cymbals and Damner products. According to an interview with Drum Magazine, his most prized and "still go-to" snare is a Noble & Cooley which he purchased for $600 before making Dookie

Green Day always has a bad-ass drum sound. I love the way the toms are captured. What are they mixing on?
