Amazing 4-year-old drummer

I stumbled across this amazing video with a 4-year-old kid playing the drums like a 15-year old drummer... Just imagine what this drummer will sound like when he's 15 years old...!

If someone thinks this is not cool, then check out 12-year-old Tony Royster Jr...

Damn, That little kid can really hold a complex beat!!

Let's hope that he doesn't follow in the path of a few very talented drummers I knew as a kid... You know, developing a drug habit and/or getting a job as a roofer to support some girl he just knocked up.

Also, That Tony Royster Jr. is UNBELIEVABLE!! I've been waiting for another vid of him to come around... A buddy of mine in Atlanta knows him. From what I hear, he a really good kid and truly the real deal!!

I think Buddy Rich also started very young. At 18 month old he was "Traps the Drum Wonder".

That is simply fascinating...

Kudos to parents who encourge and push their kids to exellence. I am sure it is not an easy life though but how rewarding.

Talent is something you can't buy...

I wouldn't assume this kid's life is not easy. He's having the TIME OF HIS LIFE.

I started playing at 9 and it was the best thing ever. I loved being a kid, I had drums. Nothing is better than having something to bash on when you're a child...hey, an adolescent too. And then I was in bands all through high school, so that was my 'thing' (everybody needs a 'thing' in HS, be it sports, music, whatever).

Life story aside, I wouldn't assume this kid's parents pushed him into this the way many push kids into showbiz. My parents, though supportive, would *definitely* preferred I picked a quieter, cheaper hobby.

I somehow prefer more settled drummers like this:

But still an incredible performance by this kid...
