Thread Starter | Superior Drummer... loading samples
My superior drummer says "loading samples" in the bottom left, pretty much always... its been over 30 minutes now since i opened it and it still says loading samples. I can play the samples but, I am wondering why it is continuing to say this? I also noticed this on a youtube tutorial, another guys Superior drummer said the same thing throughout the entire video. Anybody else run into this?

I would post this question at the Toontrack forum. My guess is that something's wrong. I load large kits with all the layers in way less than a minute. Could have something to do with how much RAM you have. Good luck. Steve

I seem to recall I had that issue a while back with my install of Superior. In the end, I just learned to live with it. Funnily enough it went away when I moved to 64 bit, so take that as you will. In general it takes about a minute (max) to load my default kit of about 1Gb, but that'll depend on your PC spec. As long as the kit is playable and you're not obviously missing any sounds I wouldn't worry about it. Probably worth a shout on the Toontrack forum as suggested above.
