"Afro Harping" Drum Sound

I'm curious to see how you think these drums were recorded. Mics, placement, outboard gear, effects, etc. We're recording a lo-fi record and I'm in love with how tight this drummer is but how natural the individual sounds are. Makes for a very charming, time machine type vibe.
