hi-hat suggestions - DFA/disco sound

Looking for suggestions on best hi-hats to get the lovely crisp disco sound heard today on most of the DFA productions.

See

and

for examples of the sound I'm looking for. Obviously a massive amount comes down to technique as well

I'd try New Beats.. or for something brighter, maybe 2002s.

The hats in the recordings are loops and/or are programmed.

The band is trying for an early 80s/late 70s vibe in their music (I hear elements of Human League, Yazoo, etc.). They sound cool.

Hi hats popular during the disco days were the Paiste 2002 Sound Edge and the Zildjian Quick Beats (with the holes in the bottom hat).

My Zildjian K Custom Hybrid 14.25" are really versatile. Check them out. They can do similar to that.
