Thread Starter | Alesis Performance Pad - Pad Arrangement
GS, I have been up and down the web and can't find any information on how to change MIDI note defaults on the Alesis Performance Pad. I want to use it as a controller to trigger sounds in Strike. The 8 pads default trigger midi notes #48, 45, 49, 51, 36, 38, 42, and 46 from left to right, top to bottom. I've gone through every manual and web source I found. Nada. I'm starting to think it's not possible to arrange these pads but that would be frickin' lame. Anyone got a clue? Please assist. TDL |

TDL, it's been a while, but from memory.......... hit the pad of interest, scroll the function button til you get the midi note number appearing on the display, then use your UP and DOWN keys to select the note you require. What ever you leave the note as, it'll remain there til you change it.

I use the Control Pad. In Ableton Live, it strikes A1, G1, G#1, C#2, D#2, D1, E1, C1.
