Anyone else have those cheap AKG tom mics?
The p4?

Is the worst sounding mic for toms, the cymbal was coming through them is totally horrible.





Is a good substitute a LDC side address mic like the joe meek JM37? or is this a universal problem regarding the miking of toms and the tone the cymbal fill has through them?
