If you want great stuff, but top-dollar... Steve Maxwell or Cherie Willoughby

Bobby at Jollity Drum Farm has some great stuff and he's good to deal with as well.

Certainly I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steve Maxwell (online and stores in NY and Chicago).
You pay a premium, but for that you get quality guarantees, authenticity, great customer service and knowledgeable staff - including Steve himself.

How about a Top Hat & Cane Ludwig? Can't say enough good things about Donn Bennett's newly expanded five star drum shop in Seattle. Vintage Drum Store and Gallery from Donn Bennett Drum Studio - The Northwest's Premier Drum Shop
