We all know that the supraphonic is basically the industry standard snare - so is there an industry standard kick drum? A Pearl export 24"? A Ludwig 22" perhaps? Regards Gareth |

I'd say no - there are a lot of kicks that will work just fine for lots of things (but it also depends on the style of music). For classic rock? Probably a lot of 20" Rogers or 3-ply Ludwig.. maybe Yamaha Recording custom? Jazz? Gretsch Modern rock? Steven slate samples.
