Midwest Percussion

I've purchased many times from them and they are the real deal. They'll meet any price, but almost always beat them without trying. They actually got into trouble for selling stuff too cheap.

I get two dozen pair with my Name, autograph, website on them from Los Cabos Drumsticks out of Canada. Even with shipping it's still cheaper than buying bulk cheapo sticks. Prices vary, but hit them up and tell them Kenn Youngar sent you their way and will hook you up.

I was literally about to post this same thread =p

A few months ago I got 80 5a sticks for $40 at guitar center on a bulk deal they had. I'm down to my last couple pairs and nobody at guitar center remembers anything about the deal

A local shop called the drum pad has a bucket of sticks you can buy but they are all different sizes and its $100

I like the Los Cabos sticks. Very well-made.

When I saw this thread, I immediately thought about the idea of personalized sticks.

Though, as a promotional item, it is lacking something, as I already know my own name and website and who else is going to be reading my drumsticks, really?

When I was first learning drums, I went through drumsticks like candy.
To be honest, the most frugal way to go for me was to get half-metal/plastic sticks similar to these:

Nottingham Drum Centre - Ahead Drumsticks - Metal

They're only around 30 bucks (which would only buy me 2 or three pairs of regular wood sticks) and have certainly outlived any other pair I've ever bought. In fact, I've been using the same pair for almost a year now. Not only that, but they have a harder, heavier sound due to plastic tips and the metal core. Only setback is that the tips tend to unscrew and the treads get stripped that hold them on, but a little guerrilla glue doesn't cost that much. Check em' out!

(Edit: found a better site full of them...They're called "Ahead" drumsticks)
