Nice ones!

Favourite, well the favourite is the one on the bottom (studio king), and that's all I got, the middle one is from our drummer but it's always here, and the top one is the one I got with the kit.

Well I don't need to tell you anything you'll prolly know more about it
It says Slingerland SKS 6514.

well I'm experimenting with tuning and recording my kit as we speak, so I might have some clips tonight or tomorrow, no I've got recordings then, last maybe friday.

Man you sure have quite the selection and euhm some pretty extravagant ones in there love the deep gretsch.

I have a sickness.....when I see more of GS members snares I will post some more of mine...last count I had 22 or so....like I said I have a real problem....

thanks for commenting on the gretsch....it's an amazing story behind that drum.....it was their premier showpiece at NAMM a few years back......I happened to know a gretsch rep quite well....and he convinced the factory to sell it to me.....It was made in 1983 for the Gretsch (vineyard) and is made from a 100 year old piece of elm wood....it's been in a few magazines and around all the drum shows....it's one of a kind....and here is the best part....I actually play it, and have recorded it a few times....it's a jem....it's not as loud as you might think (really thin shell) but my god does it sound huge....

each of the snares in the picture has a story....that's why these are my favorites...each time I play them, or let someone else play them.....they bring back memories and make me feel good.....that's what it's all about for me....

He built it for me earlier this year - Gregg is a very close friend.

It's actually a Dunnett R-Class throw - no plastic pieces to break like on the Nickel!

I have a 5.5x13" copper Dunnett, but the Kep is my baby. I had the extra Ludwig lugs kicking around, so had Gregg use those.

I'm doing some tracking today, so I'll get a sample of the stainless together for ya!

This has been my favourite since the day I bought it. It has worked super well on all sessions and live gigs. The 30-strand snarewire sounds nice

14"x6,5" Dunnett Titanium

Yeah - they've done 3 runs of them.. this is the 3rd (380th anniversary) the others were bigger (6.5" deep) and unlathed. I had always wanted a cast bronze snare - wife bought me that for anniversary this year... best.. wife.. ever.

This run was in 2003.. I got it new - it has been sitting at a Sam Ash for all this time.. I got it for roughly HALF the sticker price.
