Hi-hat stand - Which one should I pick?

So, I've been thinking about buying a new hi-hat stand for quite some time.

Now that I finally have the money to do so, I'm not sure which one I want.

It's pretty much a draw between:

TAMA HH805 Iron Cobra Velo Glide
TAMA HH805 HI-HAT MASCHINE - U.K. International Cyberstore

Tama HH905 Iron Cobra Lever Glide
TAMA HH905 HI-HAT MASCHINE - U.K. International Cyberstore

Has someone tried both, and if so, which one would you choose?

To bring up a little more discussion, what do you use?

I use a Yamaha HS-740. It's sturdy and tough enough for all but the most abusive players and has a quite beautiful feel. It also fits the 1960s Avedis Zildjian hats I use which is essential as the holes are smaller than now. It's a nice price and easy to carry but if money isn't too much of an issue also have a look at the nicer DW Hats.

I haven't been impressed with Tama Hi-Hats. Find them to be a bit bullish and mechanical in their feel. Perhaps with heavier music this would be ok bur I prefer the sensitive feel of the Yamaha and DW alternatives.

I use this PEARL H-1000K HI-HAT STÄNDER ROLLER - U.K. International Cyberstore

Although mine is 12 years old and single braced...I prefer single braced hi-hat stands as I find double braced too bulky in this area...I love the roller pulley system on these stands..ultra smooth, best feel I've ever experienced...very strong..and very adjustable for creating space for double kick pedals etc..

I have the 905...very smooth, I wouldn't call it "bullish" at all. I leave it on the lowest tension setting and it's like playing on air.

I've used the both the IC velo glide and the lever glide. Didn't like the velo at all. The action was very poor. I don't know if I had a defective one or not, but I cannot recommend it. The lever glide worked very well. Very smooth and responsive. I recommend that one.

I use a DW5500D. It works very well, but it is really heavy. Not great for gigging. I'm thinking of swapping it for the 5500L which is basically a lighter weight version, otherwise the same.
