Smart Pedal

Does anybody have any experience with the Smart Pedal. I have read bad things about it elsewhere but nobody diss ing the pedal has actually used it. I would like to hear from somebody who has tried it.

It seems like an interesting idea. I would be curious to hear what a working drummers' experiences are with this pedal. Since nobody is chiming in I am thinking that it may be a gimmick or not quite ready for "prime time" in the drumming world. Anybody have first hand experience?

I've never seen that before...
website doesn't look professional, the images don't work...

They might be on to something though if it works alright...

edit: actually I don't think this would be a very good pedal to play fast with as you have to move your whole leg to kick the bassdrum. With a normal pedal you can achieve speed with just ankle motion.

I was wondering about that... it would seem that fast doubles would be VERY difficult (well I find them difficult anyway, but I digress).
