| Gear maniac | Anyone at all tried Naiant X-D mics on toms?
I'm really considering buying some Naiant X-D mics for my toms. I've heard nothing but good about Naiant, and at $29 a mic, less than $100 for 3 seems like a good deal to me. The 10 day trial has some appeal, too. Does anyone here have any experience with them? |

This reminds me to try my X-Q's again (today!) but with an inline pad. On their own, they can't take a moderately loud drum kit even as room mics with some distance. But hey, they were $29 when I got them. I'm curious to try the X-D's myself, if only for their low price and small footprint. With that 10 day trial, you can easily find out for yourself. I might do so. |
