DTXtreme II and an Alesis trigger IO

Hi I have a DTXtreme II kit and have been using the Alesis Trigger IO.I am wondering if anyone has some advice about using the hi hat pedal? There seems to be some problems.Anyone have any experience ?Thanks,D RAIL.

Grab a Roland FD8. The Yamaha HH pedal is trash. I don't even know why I still have mine.

You DID do the hihat configure routine it describes in the manual, didnt you?

You DID RTFM, didnt you????
