Thread Starter | Need new bearing edges cut in Philly area
Can anyone recommend a place in the Philly area that can cut new bearing edges on my shells? How about stripping and refinishing? Thanks! |

Just ran across this post (haven't been around this forum much for a good while). He's not in Philly, but I can tell you that THE man to do this kind of work in the NYC/New Jersey area is Nodar Rode: Nodar Rode Drums | Manhattan Drum Shop Nodar is simply the master at cutting edges, snare beds, etc. He does great work, his prices are reasonable, and he's a very good guy to deal with. You won't be sorry.

i'm late to the party, but i was also going to say, drive to the NYC area and lookup Nodar Rode. Did a new snare side edge for a 70's Rogers (Big R) maple, 14x8 for me. Really took that drum over the top. He also does great work on cymbals. |

Nodar is great and actually in North Jersey somewhat near the GWB. Highly Recommended.
