Sonor Force Series

I got a line on a good deal for a Sonor Force 1007 kit. Does anyone have experience with them? I won't get the chance to play them so I am couting on the Slutz for opinions.

They are... Well don't look at the name, they are like any other cheap chinese drumset.

I would rather look for some used highend drumsets at the pawn shop, ebay, garage sale or what ever.

Like he said...they;re cheap. I think they have 1007, 2007, and 3007 which is the best of the three. The 3007 is birch or maple with mahogony or some other cheaper wood. So when you get down to 1007, you're not getting much. But then again it depends on the application. If I was recording with them, I'd more often be resampling that kit than using it's recorded sounds. But a true bad ass can make anything sound good.

The 2007/3007 range are 100% birch/maple respectively. No blended wood species.
