My Amazing Subway Rhythm

I know this is a gear forum. but I'm not a regular on any drummer forums and I just found the coolest little curious rhythm while riding on the subway....


it goes like this:
1--2--3--4--
x-xx-x-xx-xx

LEGEND:
X = accent
x = hit
- = rest
kick is just to keep time. so its optional


start with these two figures  in 3
on the ride:
         
Rhythm A: x-x    <--- this is a traditional swing.
Rhythm B: -xx   <---- this is the upbeat waltz ish thing


you can play these patterns on their own of course:

Rhythm A
1--2--3--4--
x-xx-xx-xx-x

Rhythm B
1--2--3--4--
-xx-xx-xx-xx


NOW HERES THE MAGIC PATTERN!  
A  A  B  B
1--2--3--4--
x-xx-x-xx-xx

this pattern is the cooles thing evar.  

so start playing it on the ride with your right hand.

Now depending on where you have you insert your left hand, you can change weather its follows any of the following patterns

5 + 5 + 2
3 + 3 + 3 + 3
5 + 5 -1 + 3

for instance this hat pattern makes it 5+5+2

     1--2--3--4--
ride:X-xX-X-xX-Xx
hats:-x----x-----
kick:x--x--x--x--

this hat pattern makes it  5+5-1+3+3  (the minus one is an overlap between the second 5 and the first 3 )
     1--2--3--4--

kick:x--x--x--x--

this hat pattern makes it  3+3+3+3
     1--2--3--4--
ride:X-xX-x-xX-xX

so now you can get into this pattern from 5 like this

or you can come at it from either of the 3 patterns like this

or
