Sabian HH Question

Hey,
I recently picked up a 15" extra thin Sabian HH crash and a set of 14" Sabian HH bright hats, and I'm just adoring them. Used them as overdubs on a tune with Digidesign's Strike on the main groove, and the results were excellent. I'm thinking of picking up a Sabian HH ride.
Can anyone provide insight into their Sabian HH experiences? Like 'em for recording? Hate 'em?
I'm pretty sure my judgment is impaired by the successes I've had with them thus far -- my enthusiasm needs to be tamed with some good ol' Gearslut criticism.
Thank you -
Jim

Check out the 21"HH raw bell ride or Leopard 20" if you want something heavy and 20" classic ride or HH 20" jazz ride if you looking for something light.
My favorite Sabian ride is a 21" HHX groove ride!!!! Great for all styles.

HH are essentially Zildjian Ks (OLD Ks.. not current Ks).. they're amazing - I have an 18" HH medium-thin crash that is just amazing sounding.

When the companies split, creating Sabian - the first product they released were the HH cymbals, which were Ks with new names on them (same factory, same metal, same processes, new logo)

The HH or "hand hammered" line were widely regarded as being K. Zildjians in all but name, and there was nothing in the settlement to prevent this being the case, although Robert Zildjian was legally prevented from claiming that it was true.

I'm not experienced with the whole line, but recently picked up.a HH Raw Bell Dry Ride and had pretty much the same experience you had with your crash and hats, in other words, new to the line, but we're pretty crazy about that ride cymbal around here. It's a heavy one so you can't crash it too well, but the range of ride tones you can get are amazing, and in my view the sound is fantastic, particularly if you are looking for well-defined attack across all parts of the cymbal. I'm very curious to hear more about these cymbals as well!
