im trying to make my own drum kit and what to know what i have to know. basically i want to know the proccesses I should know so far I got Tune the drum Choose the right mic proper mic position then recod the track |

Unless your a master in woodworking and such I wouldn' even attempt to make my own drum kit not to mention the tooling that would go into making the hardware...sheesh |

i have no idea what your asking. you asked about building drums and then your process so far just describes how to record a drum.

It helps if somebody ( who can be you ) plays the drums. I once mic'ed a drumkit and recorded nothing because there was no player. Hope it helps |
