Rock Beat Drumsticks

I have been a little dissatisfied with my drums sounds lately and don't like to beat replace. I thought maybe if I just cut the drums out of the equation I could really hook my tunes up!

Haha

Reminds of the worst drum solo I've ever seen, which was at an Aerosmith concert long ago. Their drummer, Joey Kramer had a pair of sticks that triggered a descending "scale" loop of electronic (cheesy!) drum sounds through the PA. The sticks had red LED tips, and he walked out from behind the kit, playing the surface of the stage and surrounding area, and one of the LED's went out after about 4 minutes. There was no "sound" coming out of that stick...

Did he stop playing? No. Should he have? Completely. But it went on for another 5 minutes... ugghhh
