Thread Starter | Best pre-amps for drums
Hi all, Please leave your opinions and comments on the best pre-amps for recording drums: - Do you use different ones for drums/cymbals? - Do you prefer valve or solid state? Please state reasons. Ta, Dan |

I use my GTQ2 on everything I can. I wish I had the GTP8. check this out: http://www.gearslutz.com/board/work-...gtp8-gtq2.html I don't like the mics they used for cymbals - you can hear the AT 4047 hyped upper mid enhanced sibilance a mile away, but that's not the preamp's fault. |
