Incredible. I think it's a good Idea, myself.

B8 bronze with AA/HH treatment. Think: Sabian's 2oo2 or Dimensions.

Sabian introduce APX series of high volume cymbals at winter NAMM show 2008

Hmm, that does sound pretty interesting.

I'll have to go to Guitar Center, listen to them there, then if I like buy them from my local mom & pop!
