Slingerland parts needed... help?

Hey all you drummers!

I just picked up a new drum kit, a '66 slingerland, and in order to get my last tom "off the ground" I need some leg mounts. The holes measure 2 1/4" apart. It's a unique measurement, as I have discovered, and none of the aftermarket or brand parts seem to fit.

I would prefer not to drill any holes in the drum, or spend $50 per mount on ebay...

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
Adam

Spend the money...
Vintage Sling floor tom mounts are the toughest to come by. Not sure why, but there's not a lot of them out there at the various vintage drum dealers or ebay. You might come off better by finding a trashed Sling floor tom in a hideous color and robbing them. I've got a lot of other parts, but none of these.

You absolutely don't want to drill holes or enlarge those to make something fit. Get the correct parts.

Go over to drumforum.org - ask there... there's lots of vintage drum freaks over there that should be able to help.

I've seen folks use a snare-type stand to do this. Can adjust height/position as needed and not put any new holes... ymmv
