Recommend a Metronome.

My $30 korg metronome broke.

It did the basics, picked the beat to accent and triplets, eigth notes, etc., plus volume control of its annoying click. (Its for practice at low volume levels.)

Is there a metronome that you like?

I'd consider small and cheap or more expensive

what is worth buying?

Thanks,

Dave

I love the Tama Rhythm Watch as well. I have had mine for many many years and it has never failed me. I have only failed it, by not staying in time with it.

I`d say that any metronome is good... But, if you think the click is anoying, have you tried a cheap drum machine? Some ppl preffer to hear a simple drum beat instead of the usual click.

i'll also go ahead and say rhythmwatch. it's the best thing tama makes aside from their bell brass snare.

if you want cheap, the Sabine Zipbeat is louder than your typical cheapo, and has a headphone jack and an A=440. Plus it has a nice selectable downbeat feature for various time signatures up to 6 - with a different colored light and different tone for the '1'.

It can also display a back and forth sweeping 8 led light which is useful for practicing very slow tempos.

Twenty bucks.

I would agree and I had this same problem about a month ago and went with the Rhythm Watch and some Sure E2s, and my band has been tighter ever since.
