Thread Starter | charlie watts = click track ?
I just heard a stones song that had a click track continue after the song ended . I never heard it before and couldnt catch the name . BUT my question is , did he use a click on some songs ? i wonder if ringo/bonham/watts ect used clicks at all ? |

Ringo did, I have an interview where he said he did..Bonham, I doubt it..He was known to 'swing' time...i.e. change tempo a little depending on the feel. I used to have these drum tracks from Zep IV and you can clearly hear the guitars blaring out of the headphones, no click....but don't kid yourself, some of these guys just had naturally good internal metronomes and some didn't..either way, a great player should be able to play with or without one!
