i have a pair of 15" New Beats and I love them. Great all-purpose hats, no doubt.

Yeah, I missed my chance to get a nice pair of New Beats, cheap ($115) that Alan Tide (the mic locker man!) was selling.

My 18 year old son walked out of the local AutoZone on a break and went in the pawn shop next door one day last week. He called me about 5 minutes later and I went straight down there and walked out with these 14" New Beats for $34.99 + tax! Oh, and yes that was for the pair, not each.

The logos on the top cymbal are faded some and there is a small spot of something like paint on it, but they look and sound great for very little cash. However, they are very LOUD compared to my 14" Quick Beats. Now, I just need some Mastersounds.

I'm late as usual, but I love my Sabian AAX Flat Hats - they can sing sweet and musical or produce a crashy wash when needed. Well worth listening to.

Red face

15 New Beats! LOUD, CRISP and have the BIG BALLSY rock sound you need...but, they are also VERY playable if you are doing delicate accent work.
