Need help with a vintage ACOUSTA console

Hi,

I've gotten my hands on a vintage ACOUSTA console a few months ago.
It's a 16 channel, 8 bus inline mixer with an external TT phone patch bay and a big external PSU. It looks like it has been pulled out of a desk, as there is no wooden frame and the patch bay is loose with all the cables just cut off in a messy way. The thing is huge,... it has the size of a 24 channel console, and the meters are big LED ones. It looks very impressive and very different from the other ACOUSTA mixing consoles.
I'm familiar with ACOUSTA consoles as i've seen and heard a few of their mixers, like the P100 and the P200, which are very good boards.
However, this one seems to be a one off prototype. I've searched many times on the internet and couldn't find anything. the previous owner even called ACOUSTA to get some info about it. They remembered building the board, but they said they don't have any schematics (or they don't want to hand them to anybody,... who knows...).

It was pretty dirty when i got it, so i spent a good amount of time taking all the modules out and cleaning them with deoxit and an air compressor.
When i got it first, i connected it to the PSU and switched it on. The LED's lit up and it seemed like everything was working.
Now, after i've cleaned it, i put it back together and tried to fire it up, but the fuses on the PSU keep blowing all the time (thank god i have spare ones). I've also tried and disconnected the console from the PSU before switching it on, to make sure there's nothing wrong with the PSU itself. And it looks like the fault is not inside the PSU but somewhere inside the console.

I'm not a tech guy at all and i'm tired of looking at this beautiful board not working. So i'm asking you, fellow slutz:

Is there anyone (technically experienced) in the MUNICH AREA that would like to have a look at the console and help me out?!
Or do you know of any PRO shop in my region that could do the job?

If you're serious i'll pay for the ride to my house and offer you a beer and a nice dinner

And if you happen to be willing and able to get this console running, ... you won't have to do it for free, that's for sure.

Please PM me if you're serious and interested.

Thanks

i personally cannot help you with the desk, but i know an austrian vintage shop that sold and repair lots of acousta consoles.

i'm about to put the LED meters back in and then the real fun begins,... rewiring the patchbay

(as usual).[/QUOTE]

maybe its just those of us who dont have our own nifty consoles and patchbays, but I wouldnt mind rewiring a patch bay.
