Here's a close up of the mounted 10k reverse log gain pot for the mic preamp. The red button was the old gain set, it's now phantom power. The original pcb mounted input transformer is retained. It has a bit of "Olde English" sound especially with a dynamic transformer loaded mic. Transformer-less condensers sound a bit more open.
