Steinberg owns East West...

... in terms of censorship on their forum.

East West used to be really bad in that regard (I hear they're better now) but what is going on on the Steinberg forum since their new buggy Cubase 7 was released is amazing!

Really? I've been quite impressed with the Cubase forums as a new user. The Steinberg staff seem to be quite active in responding to folks and acknowledging bugs, encouraging feature requests, etc. Quite a pleasant change to Logic and PT.

+1. And my experience is also very positive. Actual Steinberg employers responding to users questions and problems. You don't see that every day. Now, I would not say this is exactly the case with Eastwest forums sadly... :-(

Don't know about Steinberg folks but I do know the EastWest crew to be dishonest in the extreme.

I am curious about Cubase 7 now...

Is this industry knowledge?
First I heard of this but I don't own any EastWest.
