Being a great engineer goes beyond having the chops.
Anyone care to discuss business/session diplomacy/politics/protocal?
Would love to hear from Al especially!

One thing to remember is the client is always right, he's paying the bill. What I do is I don't tell him when I'm saving his ass, I make it look like it's his idea. Don't discuss politics or religion, and get your business done if front, don't wait until you are in the studio. If they want you bad enough ask for points on the record, maybe they will come back and offer 1/2 point, remember anything is better than nothing. Smile and be charming. Remember you can get more with a smile and a big stick than you can with a big stick. Good luck, Al
