Newer "renaissance" mics from China...

Hi Mr. Swedien,

Many new mics have come out of cheaper processes of producing mics from China or less expensive processes that allow for mostly all machine production runs with little or no human element other than design. Do you have any that you find to be intriguing or "cream of the crop", and if you do, what would your preferences be?

I have only tried one or two of those microphones. The ones that I have had to try have been a huge sonic disappointment.

Perhaps I have not had the good ones to try.... I don't know....
