This was out of view for some reason, here it is folks!
My guess is it remained undated because you feared the CURSE OF THE MUMMY!
Am I right?

The first thing that would appear unusual would be that all are stereo tracks. As for the Bass and Drums I would guess that since it says work tape that it is actually a slave reel and that those are sub mixes just for reference.
Am I close?
Thanks again for being here,

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for being here and sharing with us! I registered just for the opportunity to take part in these converstations with you. My answer would be that everything is recorded in stereo, except for the SMPTE of course.

I think, if no one has remarked it yet, that the unusual thing is that the track 23 is empty....
No, it is only stereo tracks!!!!!
so bruce, you used just 2 tape machines to record thriller????? (48/2->24 stereo tracks)

| Stereo?
Hello everyone,
the tracks are all stereo? I'd consider that highly unusual, at least when the instruments kick in...
Cheers, Jan.

Each part is on two tracks.
Were all the FX and sounds stereo??
Example.
Door opening: Trks 1 and 2, is it a stereo effect, moving from left to right?
I better go home and listen to it
