Recording with Bruce Swedien VOL II ?

The ‘ Q&A with Bruce Swedien ‘ forum got me in the mood to break out my

Recording with Bruce Swedien instructional video tape!

For some reason I just noticed that I ONLY have Vol 1. After doing a quick search I can’t find any mention of Vol II.

Does anyone know if there is, or ever was a VOL II?

One of my favorite sounding jazz records is "This is Billy Mitchell" recorded by Bruce Swedien at Universal in Chicago. Produced by JACK TRACY for the now defunct SMASH record label.

Sounds as good as any Columbia 30th street record date, and better than Dr. Van Gelder and Jack Higgins (Reeves studios).

With skills like that, you could record nothing but be-bop records 'till you ran out of bread.

Wow thats wonderful news. Will you be looking at modern technology and giving us tips on your approach to getting what you want from it and not not letting it control you? I assume DVD, but will volume 1 be re-issued on DVD too? Let me rephrase that - please release volume 1 on DVD too.

Regards

Amos

Ah that great video, I think I've played it a thousand times in my old Videoplayer. Unfortunately it is not playable anymore...hmm...you dig a good job Bruce

Does anyone know if it came out on DVD or is it just VHS and is it still possible to buy it???

Bruce, thank you for taking part at this forum...we all love your work! If a Vol II is on its way, book me a copy of it

Best Regards from Sweden,
/Mikael
