Coconut Panel

Hi
In my country there is a product for acoustic panel, it is fibers of Coconut, high density panel, about 140 kg/m3

I am thinking to buy the 50 mm thick to make 100 mm bass trap panel and place it on the corners

It is the table coefficient absorption and the picture of the product

The test results don't look all that good in the low frequencies if you do the planned 10cm install...

Looking at the data, solid fill would be needed for effective, and probably quite good low requency absorption.

What country are you in?

I bet you 1$ it is Brazil. There aren´t that many coconut trees in Portugal and "absorção" is Portuguese.

Could be. There's plenty of coconut waste product in Brasil.
