Vocal Booth isolation project! Need input!

What's going on 'slutz? Pretty new to the board and needing answers. My home studio is under construction and I am looking for insight on what to isolate the booth with. The walls and ceiling are completely bare at the moment. I've done a good look around the web and other posts on this forum but really would like your input due to measurement, etc.

Dimensions:
7.5 ft high (slight incline to 7 ft)
4.5 ft long
5 ft wide

What are some basics I would need in such a small booth? Maybe you could offer some placement input as well? Any help appreciated!

Problems:
the booth suffers from what sounds like a major natural "plate" verb. Also, the dreadful "boom" (lows) are present as ever!

Thanks!

All I have on me is a moving/packing blanket from the former booth. Any way I could use this in the booth properly? Good or Bad?

You need real absorbers that are thick enough to be effective down to low frequencies. Blankets will not do that.

I've been looking into DIY bass traps. Good route to go? Possibly wedged into the corner from the ground up? Not really sure what would work best.

Yes, DIY works fine. There's a ton of information all over Gearslutz, as well as all over the web. This may help:
