Are 7.25" Roxul Batts good enough for corners?

I want to straddle the corners with these Roxul but the R30 is only 7.25". I'm gonna put them in frames and straddle the corners plus I'll have a few extras to use as Gobo's as needed. I've only ever used OC 703/705 before. Are these Rockwool traps going to be effective? We have some SERIOUS nulling and bass issues in our basement studio with 7 ft ceilings. These traps will be floor to ceilding in corners plus all the other locations. Can't find any compressed around here and I have a Lowes card so this is what I can get. Will this stuff work for trapping?

If you are refering to Roxul Comfortbatt insulation, yes. It will actually give better absorption than 4" of 703. Please post the price for 703 and R30 in your region for the benefit of people here.

Thanks Andre. Yes I believe the Roxul batts are what you described. This is them and they are $40 for 4 around here in Nashville.

I don't know the price of 703 around here because I haven't really checked into it. All I have available fund-wise is on my Lowes card so I needed to use what they have )
