Current local pricing on John-Mansville 814/OC-703

I just got a quote of $1.49/sq ft for unfaced 2' x 4' x 2" J-M 814 (3 lb/cu ft) from SPI in Cincinnati. That seems awful high compared to what's reported here, but admittedly, some of the posts are a little old. It's basically Internet pricing plus 7% or so sales tax, but without the 40+% shipping cost.

Anyone buy this locally recently willing to share current pricing? Thanks!

I made a thread recently on here about an insulation distributor I found thats in a ton of states. They have a location in Ohio. Not sure how close it is to you. You could always call them, check their pricing, and if the other place is closer; tell them you can get it cheaper and see if they can beat the price for you, perhaps. Thank you! I can't believe I missed that recent thread. Unfortunately, the nearest location is $100+ worth of diesel round trip for me, but it's a good reference to negotiate with the Cincy shop. Thanks again!

No problem! Its ok - it gets shoved back a few pages often. I just bump it every week or so to get people to notice, its a great reference, and they have good prices. Hopefully you can get your other shop to go down a bit. Otherwise, its still a great price compared to online.
