Sound Proofing Bedroom

Hey guys, been browsing the forums and decided to make an account to see if anyone is able to give me some good advice.

Basically, my bedroom is an extension onto the back of the house which is where I have my drum kit. I need to know the best possible ways I can soundproof my room so that I don't annoy neighbors or disturb others within the house.

Warning: Very poor attempt to show you guys the room.

This is the layout of my room, I was hoping that by adding some sort of sound proofing around drum kit and on doors/windows that it would make a difference.

So I found out about Audimute sheets since there are some good reviews out there for the product.

So looking at them sheets, I was thinking about having them in my room like this:

Purple Rings - Where I would hand the sheets, all places would have double layers too so 2 sheets per purple ring.

Yellow Ring - Where I would add a rail and have thick curtain going across, but not looked into any material yet.

I know its a big post of randomness but this is where I am at the moment.

Am I even looking at the right methods of noise reduction for my room?
Are these sheets worth purchasing?
Are there any other methods or additions I can add to this plan?

Also, my budget is around £500.

Thanks for any help and info you guys can give me

Warning: bad news bear approaching.

Hanging things on the walls may help the sound in the room, but it's not going to do anything for isolation.

Even if you covered all of your walls (and assuming it was magical and actually added significant isolation), you'd still be out to flanking paths, ceiling, floor, and everything else.

Unfortunately, the answer is: without a professional evaluation and likely some serious investment and construction, there is often little you can do to an existing structure to greatly improve isolation. I'd start by sealing everything up.

No prob - make sure that your doors are sealed, windows are sealed, no cracks in things.

If you included more details about your room (pictures, construction details, etc.), it's possible someone could make a more specific recommendation that might help.

New windows were fitted the other day but yeah later on today I will provide some images of the room.

Is it even worth spending money on absorption sheets like these since nothing is going to be changed to the walls/ceiling.

I just wanted an easy way to reduce noise outside of the room. (If possible)

I meant the volume of sounds that is outside of the room generated from me playing on the drums.

The products are marketed as such, but effective isolation takes research/planning and proper construction.

Err, sorry, thats what I meant. It works the same way in either situation. You need isolation, and it won't be possible without construction, and it won't be cheap. Not that it will cost you $50,000 - but, a lot more than a couple hundred
