Trap suggestions? 120 Hz broad Q, 9" max depth

I've got a few modes in my room that cluster between 100 and 140 Hz. With my desk in its required position for tracking I end up with a deep null at around 100 Hz, and a build up at 130 Hz. Lengthwise axial appears to be the dominant one here, but I plan on conducting more measurements this week.

Currently the rear wall of my studio is only partially treated. I've got a shallow diffusor on it, and a superchunk spanning the wall ceiling junction. If I needed to I could build a trap at most 9 inches deep across the whole wall (approx 11' x 8.5' one the door has been accounted for). I'd like to keep the back of the room more 'live' so I'd prefer not to stick a broadband treatment on that wall.

So, considering the problem zone, and the need for damping to be limited to the low frequencies, what sort of trap designs should I be looking at? Slat resonators? Panel? Perforated?

Any input would be welcomed...

Cheers,

Kris

From what you have written, panel.

Interesting...what is it in particular about my application that has you suggesting panel traps? In my mind I was thinking that slats were probably the way to go.

Cheers
