Suggestion needed for planning new traps

Hello!

I have searched quite a bit around the forum and haven't seen my exact situation posted, so i wanted to ask for some suggestions in planning my next move with the traps I already have.

I have purchased two cases of O.C. 705-FRK from a local reseller recently (all they had)

The plan was to build superchunks... but i read that the FRK is no good for this construction technique AND that the density of the 705 is too high for the depth of the superchunks I will be building, so I will buy some plain 703 for this purpose specifically.

SO now i would like to use the 705-FRK material to build some broadband absorbers. Two options appear to me now:

1) Build 4" traps with the FRK facing out on both sides

-seems limiting, no good for gobo's, lacking absorption in high frequencies

2) Buy additional 705, no FRK, and make 4" traps with one side FRK and the other plain.

-seems less limiting, can be used for bass trapping AND broadband, FRK would have to be mounted flush against the wall to be effective in control room.

I believe i will probably go with option 2! but would like to see if anyone else may have any suggestions or may see something i am not thinking about.

I know this is a lot of information and I would like to thank you in advance if you made it this far and even more so if you may have a moment to contribute.
