Left over O/C 705 FRK

I have a couple sheets of O/C 705 FRK left over. Do you think it would make good speaker isolation pads? Thinking about wrapping some pieces in fabric and putting them under my monitors like Auralex MoPads.

Has anyone ever tried this before? I don't want to cut up a good 2'x4'x2" sheet if it won't work.

I have never tried it but I can't see any reason why it would not work. Like I said though I have never tried it.
