Exclamation this type of rock wool could work?

hello trying to build my own bass traps since here they only sell auralex like 3 times the price they sell for in the states..

so I found 144kg/m3 rock wool, 0.61m * 1.22m
deph 2" or 4"

could it work?

any help is greatly apreciated

If you intend to absorb low frequencies with porous material, it needs to be very deep. At least 6" with at least 6" air gap. 144kg/m³ is excessively dense to be effective at low frequencies (unless used as some sort of membrane resonator):

Unless you want to have a dead room, I also recommend covering the panels with a thin board to avoid excessive loss in the highs.

For now I will start searching for 100kg/m3 stonewool...

when I find them I will post pics of my build

Exclamation density..

what about 70kg/m3 ?
would 2 layers of 2 different density help?
(ex: 70kg/m3 and 40kg/m3 , 5 and 10cm)
