Would these work as bass traps?

Amazon.com: 6x6x6" Rockwool Block - Hugo: Home & Garden

I was wondering if it would be effective if I stacked them 2-3' high in all four corners?

Any thoughts?

probably depends on the density / how tightly the stuff is compressed.. There isn't really enough info on that page eh

It is only a 6" cube??? It is going to be MUCH bigger for it to really trap bass.
