| Gear nut | GIK panels
Here's a picture of the front of my room with just the GIK room kit #1 treatment. Really cleared up the flutter echo and tightened up the bass - an amazing improvement.

Thanks Glenn, I'm impressed with the way the panels 'eat up' the resonance as soon as you walk into the room... very noticeable. Funny... this room is the same size as the space I was in before moving, but people keep saying it looks more spacious. Must be the panels (good thing I ordered the white ones)! |

Yes.. the passive ones! I can't really afford to get new monitors at this time. They work pretty good and translate well but I use a JBL sub with them because they don't accurately reproduce the very low end. Before adding the sub-woofer my mixes played back bass heavy on other systems. I no longer have that problem because I can now hear what's really going on down there. The GIK bass traps help too! |
